Agreement

These Terms of Use govern your access to Reasons I Love You. By using the site, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Who may use the service

You must be at least 13 years old to use the service. If you are not old enough to enter into a binding agreement where you live, a parent or legal guardian must approve your use.

Your account

You are responsible for your account activity and for keeping access to your Google account secure. You agree to provide accurate information and promptly contact us if you believe your account or page has been accessed without permission.

Your content

You keep ownership of the words and other content you submit. You give us a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty free license to host, store, reproduce, display, and distribute that content only as needed to operate, maintain, improve, and secure the service. This license ends when your content is deleted, except for copies retained temporarily in backups or where continued retention is legally required.

You understand that pages and reasons are public and may be viewed, copied, or shared by others. Only publish content that you have the right and permission to share.

Respectful use

Do not use the service to publish unlawful, threatening, harassing, hateful, sexually exploitative, deceptive, defamatory, infringing, or privacy violating content. Do not impersonate another person, expose sensitive personal information, interfere with the service, bypass security measures, scrape the site excessively, distribute malware, or use automated systems in a way that burdens the service.

Moderation and account action

We may remove content, restrict access, reclaim misleading or abusive page addresses, or suspend accounts when reasonably necessary to enforce these terms, protect people, comply with law, or keep the service secure. We may act without advance notice when immediate action is appropriate.

Service availability

The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We may change, pause, or discontinue features at any time. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, noninfringement, and uninterrupted or error free operation.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Reasons I Love You and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits, goodwill, or opportunities arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the greater of $100 or the amount you paid us during the 12 months before the claim.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute that is not resolved informally will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Hamilton County, Ohio, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service changes. The effective date above will show when the latest version took effect. Your continued use after updated terms take effect means you accept them.
